Cundiff would find the back of the net only five minutes later with assists from Ashlen Burch and Alyson McMillan. Burch received the ball and passed it to McMillian at the top of the box who then shot it in to Cundiff who was able to score. Cundiff scored her third goal with an assist by Hannah Chatterton, to complete the hat trick in the 62nd minute and give the Buffs a 3-0 lead with 28 minutes left in the game.
