  • Buffs defeat Bulldogs for fourth straight win

    Just coming off her 4,000th career assist, Kellee Geren picked up her third double-double of the season as the Milligan College volleyball team beat Tennessee Wesleyan (23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19) in a four-set Appalachian Athletic Conference match-up Tuesday night inside James L. Robb Gymnasium.
  • Multiple Buffs pick up AAC weekly awards

    Four Milligan College athletes picked up Appalachian Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week awards for the week ending Sept. 15. Roberto Fernandez Garrido from men’s soccer, Nathan Baker from men’s cross country, and Kellee Geren and Julie Dockery from women’s volleyball all were awarded.
  • Geren records 4000th career assist in AAC sweep

    Senior setter Kellee Geren recorded assists on the last five points to pick up career assist No. 4,000 on the way to an easy win for the Milligan College volleyball team Saturday inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. After earning her 1,000th career dig one week ago, Geren became a member of an exclusive club as Milligan defeated Columbia College 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-22).

    Milligan College came out hot Friday night at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse, taking down Appalachian Athletic Conference member Allen University in three straight sets (25-13, 25-21, 25-17). This victory improved Milligan’s record to 7-4 (2-1 AAC).

    Milligan College volleyball defeated Appalachian Athletic Conference newcomer Kentucky Christian University in three straight sets (25-19, 25-17, 25-21) Tuesday night in Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.

    Senior Kellee Geren of the Milligan College volleyball team has been selected as the Appalachian Athletic Conference setter of the week for the week ending Sept. 8.
  • Milligan gets swept day two of Music City Invitational

    Milligan College volleyball competed in day two of the Music City Invitational held at Fisk University Saturday and dropped both matches to finish the tournament 2-2. The Buffs faced Georgetown College and Indiana University East.

    The Milligan College volleyball team competed in day one of the Music City Invitational held at Fisk University Friday and finished the day 2-0. The Buffs (5-2) faced Loyola University (4-7) out of Louisiana in the first match and Huntington University (5-4) in the second.
  • Milligan drops Appalachian Athletic Conference opener to Bryan

    The Milligan College volleyball team opened up Appalachian Athletic Conference play at Bryan College and suffered their first conference loss of the season falling to Bryan in five sets (25-18, 25-17, 17-25, 18-25, 5-15). This is the first time Bryan has defeated Milligan since 2015.

    Milligan College’s Roberto Fernandez Garrido and Kellee Geren won Appalachian Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for their respected sports this past week announced the league office Monday afternoon.
  • Volleyball sweeps day two of Mountain Madness tournament

    Carley Gregory and Kellee Geren recorded their first double-doubles of the season, while Julia Codispoti recorded a total of 25 kills on the day to finish the second day of the Milligan College Mountain Madness tournament with two wins.
  • Milligan splits first day of Mountain Madness

    Milligan College finished day one of the Milligan Mountain Madness tournament with a split of their two matches on Friday. The Buffs first game of the tournament as well as their first game of the season was a sweep against Midway in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-12).  The Buffs then fell to Keiser University in three sets (20-25, 19-25, 17-25) to close out the night.
  • Volleyball kicks off 2019 season Friday

    Coming off a successful 2018 campaign, the Milligan College women’s volleyball team will begin their season on Friday with their annual Milligan Mountain Madness Tournament held at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. The Buffs will begin the tournament Friday by playing Midway at 4 p.m. and Keiser at 8 p.m.
  • Volleyball picked second in AAC preseason poll

    Fresh off winning last year’s Appalachian Athletic Conference North Division, a runner-up finish in the AAC tournament and a trip to the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship Final Site, Milligan College’s volleyball program was selected to finish runner-up in the 2019 AAC regular season according to the preseason coaches’ poll.
  • Volleyball earns AVCA Team Academic Award

    The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced Monday that Milligan College was one of 1,125 teams to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2018-2019 season.
  • Volleyball adds five in 2019-20 class
    July 23, 2019
    Coming off a trip to the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship and victory in the opening round, Milligan College’s volleyball team has reloaded with five newcomers in the 2019-20 signing class. Head Coach Doneva Bays announced the addition of these five new players Tuesday.
  • 12 Milligan teams earn NAIA scholar award
    July 16, 2019
    The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that 12 Milligan teams earned the distinction for Scholar-Teams for the 2018-19 academic year. These 12 teams were among 1,939 total teams across the NAIA recognized with this award.
  • Milligan finishes No. 31 in Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings

    Led by the men’s cross country/track & field program which finished No. 6 nationally in program of the year standings, Milligan College Athletics earned a final position of No. 31 in the Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings.
