Milligan College, Tenn. (Nov. 11, 2011) --- The Milligan College men's soccer team came up short in their quest for the AAC tournament title as they fell 3-2 to Bryan College in double overtime on Friday night in the AAC semifinals at Anglin Field.

  Bryan scored early as Gustavo Angel found the net in the 12
th minute. The Buffaloes answered in the 19
th minute when
Nahom Tekle (Louisville, Ky.) beat the Lions' keeper to even the score at one all. In the 41
st minute, Bryan regained the lead on a penalty kick by Angel.

  However,
Chris Ochieng (Nairobi, Kenya) took full advantage of a penalty kick to even the score again with just 11 seconds remaining in the half. Ochieng's goal sent the teams into the locker room tied at two goals apiece.

  Neither team was able to capitalize on opportunities in the second period as the game went into overtime. After the first extra period went scoreless, Bryan secured the match on a Tom Hemmings goal in the 105
th minute.

  The Buffaloes end the season with a 12-5 overall record. Milligan captured the regular season AAC crown with a perfect 7-0 run through conference.
