Milligan College, Tenn. (March 24, 2012) --- The Milligan College tennis program saw both teams fall to nationally ranked Lee University on Saturday afternoon in nonconference action. The Milligan women fell 9-0 to the No. 16 Lady Flames while the men fell 9-0 to No. 15 Lee.

  On the women's side, the Buffaloes narrowly came up short in four matches as all four went to tiebreakers. Three of those matches went to tiebreakers with the match on the line.

  The team of
Kayla Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and
Sarah Rainwater (Knoxville, Tenn.) as well as the team of
Ahmee Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and
Halie Winfrey (Fayetteville, Ga.) fell in doubles action 9-8, while the duet of
Albany Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and
Celeste Carpenter (Mountain City, Tenn.) fell 8-5.

  Rainwater also came up short in singles action as she fell 6-4, 4-6, 10-8, in No. 2 doubles. On the men's side,
Wesley Rice (Knoxville, Tenn.) and
Sebastian Jonsson (Lyeskill, Germany) came up short 9-7 in No. 2 doubles.

  The Buffaloes return to action on Sunday, March 25, when they return to conference play at Reinhardt University. Match time is slated for 2 p.m.
