Campbellsville, Ky. (April 3, 2013) --- The Milligan College tennis program split a match with nonconference foe Campbellsville University on Wednesday in Campbellsville, Ky. The Milligan women edged the No. 19 Campbellsville squad 6-3, but the Buffaloes men came up short as they fell 8-1.

Grace Sarver (Bland, Va.) led the way as she defeated Anna Tumenyen 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and
Rachel Hodas (Knoxville, Tenn.) picked up a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Megan Charity at No. 2 singles.
Sarah Rainwater (Knoxville, Tenn.) and
Ahmee Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) also picked up single wins for the Buffaloes.

  In doubles action,
Kayla Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Hodas defeated Jenna Sallee 9-7 at No. 2 doubles. The duo of
Hallie Winfrey (Fayetteville, Ga.) and A. Kelly captured an 8-1 victory against Kelsie Pockham and Charity.

  On the men's side, the team of
Andy Pullen (Kingsport, Tenn.) and
Colin Bumann (Abilene, Tex.) defeated Michael Rjazanzar and Sebastian Marot 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. The duo of
Caleb Fridell (Ooltewah, Tenn.) and
Jackson Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn.) was edged 8-4 by Pontus Bloom and Alejandro Soriano.

  The Milligan women improve to 12-2 overall, while the men move to 4-9 overall.

  Both squads return to action on Thursday, April 4, as they wrap up the two-day Kentucky road trip at Lindsey Wilson College. Match time is set for 12 p.m.
