GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2014) â€" Rachel Hodas brought home the lone W Tuesday afternoon in the Milligan College men's and No. 20 women's tennis spring season opener at Tusculum College.
 
Hodas took her victory on the first singles court 6-2, 4-6, (10-5) over Tusculum's Sarah Baker, but the Buffaloes were beaten 8-1 on the women's side. The Milligan men lost 9-0.
 
Hodas and Jackson Lenoir were the only two to push their match past the second set. Lenoir fell 4-6, 6-4, (10-4) at four singles.
 
Milligan will be on the road Saturday, March 1 for a meeting with UVA-Wise before turning around on Sunday, March 2 for a home match against Bluefield State College. Sunday's home-opening match will begin at 3 p.m.
