NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 21, 2014) â€" Milligan's run of seven straight victories came to an end Friday in a neutral-site match on the campus of Tennessee State University as the No. 18 women's tennis team was upended by Graceland University 5-4. The Milligan men fell 8-1.

Milligan (9-3, 1-0 AAC) took two of the three doubles points on the women's side, but only
Kayla Kelly and
Sarah Rainwater were victorious in singles. The pair posted straight-sets wins on courts two and three, respectively.

In men's action, Milligan (6-6, 0-1 AAC) picked up the lone point from
Colin Bumann at two singles. Bumann defeated Jose Daniele Razo Torres in three sets (6-4, 5-7, 6-2).
Fernando Gonzalez, the reigning AAC player of the week, won the first set of his match at three singles but lost the match in a third-set tiebreak (6-3, 2-6, 6-7).
