Jonathan Colson and
Anthony Walker scored the goals for the Milligan College men's soccer team in a 9-2 loss at Reinhardt University on Wednesday.

Milligan closed out the Appalachian Athletic Conference season with a record of 4-12-1 (3-5-1 AAC). The Buffs are locked into the seven seed for the conference tournament and will host 10th-seeded Bluefield in the opening round on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Colson scored his goal in the 32nd minute to cut into Reinhardt's (9-6, 6-2 AAC) two-goal lead, but the Eagles, third in the AAC, poured on two more goals in the first half and an additional five in the second.

Colson's goal moved him to one off the league lead in total scoring and three off the lead in total points.

Walker's goal, assisted by
Ronald Rivas, came in the 72nd minute, roughly eight minutes before Reinhardt posted its final tally.

Milligan will play one final game of the regular season against King University in a rescheduled nonconference contest on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. The AAC tournament will start the following week.
