ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (April 13, 2021) – Four of the five all-tournament spots went to Milligan University, including Michaela Lindahl who earned medalist honors, and the No. 11 Buffaloes wrapped up the regular season with a victory at the Mountain Empire Intercollegiate Tuesday at Elizabethton Golf Club.
Lindahl (82-73) had the low round of the tourney by four strokes, firing 73 on day two to earn the top spot on the leaderboard. Alayna Perryman (79-78), Meryl Castle (80-78) and Jenny Simonsen (83-83) also earned spots on the all-tournament team.
Milligan won by a 52-stroke margin, even widening its margin of victory by 36 strokes on day two.
Up next, Milligan competes at the AAC NAIA Direct Qualifier, set for Monday-Tuesday, April 26-27, in Braselton, Georgia.
