MONTGOMERY, Ala. - On Tuesday morning, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) announced that Milligan University's Emily Cheesman was selected as the first SSAC Women's Bowler of the Week of the 2025-26 campaign.

Cheesman had a phenomenal performance to begin her year, as she placed second overall as an individual at the Midwest Collegiate Classic and was named to the All-Tournament team. She was able to topple 1,045 pins in five team games, averaging 209 per contest, and bowled a 244 in the second team game as her top output.
