MONTGOMERY, Ala. - On Tuesday morning, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) announced that Milligan University's Emily Cheesman had earned her second SSAC Women's Bowler of the Week recognition of the young 2025-26 season.

Cheesman continues to produce impressive results. She placed fourth as an individual over the weekend at Bowlero Southern, averaging 205.8 pins per contest. She totaled 1,029 pins through her five team games. Additionally, her efforts helped push the Buffaloes to a second-place qualification for match play, in which they won the consolation championship to finish third as a team.
