KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the outcome of the second regular-season version of the NAIA Men's Cross Country Top-25 Rating. The Milligan University men's team ended up at No. 12, after sitting at No. 11 last time around.
The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list. The highest and lowest ratings for each team are removed. The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
The men have not raced their top runners since prior to the previous top-25 rating. They earned 346 points in this poll, trailing the No. 11 slot by 25 points.
