The Milligan women dropped all three doubles matches, as Tara Stewart and Parker White were the only pair to take a game, falling 6-2 in the No. 2 matchup.

Melissa Duarte put up the strongest fight of anyone in the Milligan singles lineup in the very first match, as she fell 6-4, 7-6 (5) in the No. 1 matchup. Otherwise, the highest number of games won in a set came from Trinity Fox, who dropped the No. 3 tilt by a score of 6-2, 6-3. Otherwise, straight-set losses resulted in a 7-0 loss for the women.

Milligan's men had a tight battle in the doubles competition, with Michal Curlej and Martin Mercarder dropping the No. 1 bout by a score of 7-6 (7-3). Then, Gonzaga Lafarga and Phil Schollhorn managed a 6-4 win of the No. 2 battle. It was the No. 3 matchup, involving Brayden Kennedy and Tomas Tenil, which resulted in a 6-3 loss to give the Bees the point.

Lafarga notched a win of the No. 1 match in singles for the Buffs, as he took a 6-4, 6-1 triumph. Both the No. 4 and No. 5 matches, which were played by Mercarder and Tenil, resulted in MU wins, as well. Mercarder went the distance, achieving a 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 win in an abbreviated two-setter with a 10-point tiebreak. Tenil won in straight sets, taking a 7-5, 6-1 triumph. Unfortunately, the remaining tilts were not as kind to Milligan, as straight-sets losses clinched the match for SCAD Atlanta, 4-3.

Now, the two squads will face the University of Pikeville Bears on Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m. for the final home contest of the campaign at Mathes Tennis Center.
