Joshua Starr returns for his senior year with the Milligan men’s cross country team.

2025: Starr competed in three cross country meets for the Buffs during his junior season, placing 34th at the AAC Cross Country Championships with a season-best 8k time of 27:06.5. He also finished 33rd at the Brevard XC Classic (28:56.1) and 91st at the South Region Showdown (27:54.6).

2024: As a sophomore, Starr posted a collegiate-best 8k time of 25:40.6 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge to place 42nd. He finished 33rd at the AAC Cross Country Championships (26:42.0), 22nd at the Brevard XC Classic (27:30.0), 52nd at the Firetower Project CC (26:16.7), and competed at the Pirate Cross Country Invitational (26:27.8).

2023: During his freshman cross country season, Starr placed 49th at the AAC Cross Country Championships (27:20.6). He ran a season-best 8k time of 26:58.4 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge (73rd), finished 21st at the Eli Cramer Invitational (3-mile personal best of 16:11.8), and debuted at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational (29:05.2).
