Carson Murphy joins the Milligan golf program as a freshman for the 2026 season. Prior to Milligan, Murphy had a standout prep career at Buncombe County Virtual Academy black bear, where he earned All-State honors and finished third at the 2025 state championships under coaches John Knight and Tim Johnson. Academically, he graduated with a 3.4 GPA while completing pre-college coursework. The son of Desi and Regina Murphy, Carson has one sister, Maggie, and plans to major in Sports Management.
