Evan Caldwell enters his second year with the Milligan men’s golf team following an impressive freshman campaign. The Knoxville, Tenn. has had many promising rounds in his first year as Buff, as he looks to carry that momentum into his sophomore season.

2025-2026: Caldwell’s season was highlighted by a season-low 68 at the Upstate Fall Invitational on Sept. 30, Caldwell earned a T-3rd finish to lead the Buffs. Earlier in the fall, his rounds of 75 and 72 at the Fincastle Intercollegiate propelled Milligan to a second-place team finish after 36 holes. Caldwell also demonstrated his ability to compete against top national competition at the Music City Classic at Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville, firing an even-par round in the finale.
