Biography

Aaron Gottlied enters his senior year with the Milligan men’s cross country team. He enters his senior season as one of the more experienced runners on the team, as he developed three years as a Buff. He has shown constant improvement throughout his career and grew into a frontline runner for the Buffs in 2025.

2025: As a junior, Gottlied broke out as a frontline runner for Milligan, earning All-AAC First Team honors with a 6th-place finish (25:17.9) at the AAC Cross Country Championships, posting an 8k personal-best of 24:38.8 (8th place) at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge, and representing the Buffs as an NAIA National Championship Qualifier (64th place, 25:34.5). He also repeated as an Academic All-AAC Team member.

2024: As a sophomore, Gottlied continued to develop within the Buffs' distance squad, competing in the 8k at the Firetower Project CC with a time of 27:23.4. He made the Academic All-AAC Team as well. 

2023: As a freshman, Gottlied gained valuable experience on the course, competing in the 3-mile at the Eli Cramer Invitational (16:43.6) and posting an 8k season-best of 27:42.4 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge.
