Biography
Bryson Lewis returns for his senior year with the Milligan men’s cross country team, looking to build on his already impressive resume.
2025: Lewis competed in six cross country meets for the Buffs as a junior, earning All-AAC First Team honors with a 3rd-place finish at the AAC Cross Country Championships in a season-best 8k time of 25:03.5. He claimed victory at the Eli Cramer Invitational, taking 1st place with a 5k personal-best time of 16:24.6. Lewis went on to place 48th at the NAIA Cross Country Championships (25:23.3) and added top-25 finishes at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge (21st, 24:56.8) and the Fire Tower Project (15th, 25:15.8). He opened his season finishing 31st at the Queen City Invite (25:29.8).
2024: During his sophomore cross country season, Lewis earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and AAC All-Academic honors. He ran a collegiate personal-best 8k time of 24:39.8 at the NAIA Cross Country Championships, finishing 39th overall. Lewis earned All-AAC First Team honors by placing 7th at the AAC Cross Country Championships (25:09.2). He recorded a 6th-place finish at the Brevard XC Classic (26:11.5) and competed at the Firetower Project CC (28th, 25:17.3), the 2024 NAIA Appalachian Challenge (34th, 25:25.1), and the 2024 Pirate Cross Country Invitational (57th, 25:06.4).
2023: As a freshman, Lewis earned NAIA All-America honors by finishing 30th overall at the NAIA Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:31.4. He earned All-AAC honors with a 9th-place finish at the AAC Cross Country Championships in a season-best 8k time of 25:01.2. Lewis also finished 24th at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge (25:37.5), 33rd at the Fire Tower Project (26:02.0), 35th at the Royals Challenge (25:39.0), and 39th at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational (26:31.4).
