Gran Sexton returns for his senior year after three consecutive years with the Milligan men’s cross country team. Sexton earned NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete honors as a Church Leadership and Humanities major in 2025. On top of that, he has been recognized as Academic All-AAC twice in back-to-back years (2024-2025). 

2025: As a junior, Sexton provided solid depth for the Buffs, setting an 8k personal-best of 26:58.6 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge and placing 14th in the 5k at the Eli Cramer Invitational (17:58.6).

2024: As a sophomore, Sexton continued to build consistency on the grass, highlighted by a top-20 finish (20th) at the Brevard XC Classic with an 8k time of 27:24.1.

2023: As a freshman, Sexton gained valuable race experience, competing in the 3-mile at the Eli Cramer Invitational (16:47.9) and running an 8k time of 27:53.2 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge.
