Biography

Garner arrives at Milligan from Kingsport, Tenn., earning two varsity cross country letters at Dobyns Bennett High School under head coaches Bob Bingham in track and Mike Sweeney in cross country. As an Indian, he was a recipient of the TSSAA Award of Excellence in Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity. Just as impressive in the classroom, Garner graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0-plus GPA, finishing in the top 10 of a graduating class of 607 with Graduate with Distinction recognition. He will major in Biology at Milligan and is the son of Chris and Joyce Garner. He has one sibling, Leia Garner.
