Magalhães brings experience from the community college level at Seward County CC in Kansas, where he started all 17 contests in his freshman season in 2025. Now, he joins the Buffs as an option to fill a defensive role, leaning on his 6’2, 195-pound frame and experience as a captain in the middle of the Seward County defense. The Belo Horizonte, Brazil native attended Layton Christian Academy in Utah as an exchange student in high school, scoring a pair of goals and dishing out an assist while starting all games in his time there. The team finished as UHSAA 4A Region Champions. The son of Gustavo and Claudia, Felipe has one sister named Helena. He will study Electrical Engineering at Milligan.
