Lauren Wimmer, a native of Abingdon, Virginia, enters the 2026 season as the veteran leader of the women's tennis team. As the program's lone senior, she has spent all four years of her collegiate career as a Buff. Prior to arriving at Milligan, Wimmer was a standout athlete at Abingdon High School. During her time at Milligan, she has earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors twice and was named to the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Academic Team on two occasions. In 2025, she also received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District recognition. On the court, Wimmer earned AAC All-Freshman Team honors during the 2023-24 season.

2025-26: Wimmer did not see action in singles but posted a 7-1 record in doubles, highlighted by a 5-1 mark alongside Parker White.
