Landon Stephens is entering his first season as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Milligan University. He joins the Buffs after three seasons with the Northwestern State University women’s basketball program, where he served two years as a Graduate Assistant during the 2023-2025 seasons and one year as a student manager during the 2022-23 season.

At Northwestern State, Stephens played a key role in all aspects of program operations, including opponent scouting, video coordination, game and practice preparation, player development support, and team travel logistics.

During the 2024–25 season, Stephens helped assist the Lady Demons to their first winning regular season in a decade and earn a spot in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), which was the program’s first WNIT appearance since 1999. That season also featured two major individual honors under his support and development: Mya Blake was named Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year, while Vernell Atamah earned Southland Conference Freshman of the Year.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Stephens earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State in May 2023 and then went on to complete his Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Administration in May 2025.
