Milligan drops match in five to Reinhardt

Waleska, Ga. (Nov. 6, 2009) --- The Milligan College volleyball team dropped a five set heartbreaker Friday night to Reinhardt College (Ga.) in AAC action (22-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 11-15). 

Freshman standout Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) recorded a career-high 50 assists and pitched in nine digs. Senior Meredith Lynch (Lexington, Ky.) led the squad offensively with 14 kills, while junior Bianca Burnett (Cookeville, Tenn.) was a kill behind with 13. Libero Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the defensive effort with 31 digs.  

With the loss, the Lady Buffs slip to 15-16 overall and 9-6 in the AAC.

The Lady Buffs travel to Bryan College (Tenn.) Saturday, Nov. 7, for their final AAC regular season match of the season. Action begins at 1 p.m.
