Milligan College, Tenn. (April 7, 2010) --- The Milligan  College men's and women's tennis team earned another conference win at home as  they took on Bluefield College and won, with both men and women winning  9-0.
On the women's side the number one doubles team of Caitlin Conley (Bristol, Tenn.) and Albany Kelly (Chattanooga,  Tenn.) won handily by shutting out Erica Creger and Megan Randall 8-0.  The number three doubles team of Janie Mullins (Greenville,  Ala.) and Heather Bell (Franklin, N.C.) also won  8-0.
In singles play Conley, Kelly, and Jessie Rose Remegi  (Hilton Head, S.C.) all won in straight sets and by shutting out the  competition, 6-0, 6-0.
For the men, in doubles action, the number three  doubles team of Matt Clark (Kingsport, Tenn.) and  Mickey Brown (Blountville, Tenn.) also shut out their  completion by not allowing a point and winning 8-0. The number two doubles team  of Kody Horne (Summertown, Tenn.) and Bryan Upshaw  (Kingsport, Tenn.) won their match 8-1.
In singles action,  number one player Rickey Jones (Elizabethton, Tenn.) defeated  Tyler Eastep handily in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Upshaw also won in straight  sets defeating Evan Sherman 6-0, 6-0.
With the win the Lady Buffs improve  to a perfect 4-0 in conference play and 6-3 overall, while the men improve to  3-1 in conference play and 3-6 overall.
Both the  men's and women's team will host Tennessee Wesleyan College on Saturday, April  10. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
