Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 7, 2011) --- The Milligan College tennis teams competed in a doubleheader on Friday, and both teams dropped matched against UNC-Charlotte and Mars Hill in Charlotte, N.C.
 
   The Milligan women fell 6-1 to UNC-Charlotte as Celeste Carpenter (Mountain City, Tenn.) recorded the lone singles victory with a 7-5, 0-6, 1-0 (0-7) victory over Lisa Grosselius. The Buffaloes also fell 5-2 to Mars Hill.
 
   The Milligan men came up short in both matches as they fell 7-0 to UNC-Charlotte and 5-0 to Mars Hill.
 
   Both teams return to action on Oct. 21, when they host King College at Mathes Tennis Center.
