Bristol, Va. (Nov. 1, 2011) --- The Milligan College volleyball team picked up a 3-0 victory over Virginia Intermont in their AAC regular season finale on Tuesday night in Bristol, Va.

  In the first set, the Buffaloes edged ahead late to take a 25-23 set victory. Milligan pulled ahead late again in the second set to propel themselves to a 25-21 set victory. In the decisive third set, the Buffaloes secured the match with a 28-26 victory.

Chelsea Spivey (Gate City, Va.) had 31 assists, while
Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 21 digs.
Kendra Fiddler (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and
Holly English (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 10 kills apiece, while Fiddler added two solo blocks and English tallied 12 digs. Freshman
Kaitlyn Qualls (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had nine digs on the evening.

  With the win, Milligan finishes AAC play with a 9-7 mark and improves to 11-17 overall.

  The Buffaloes wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 5, when they travel to Mars Hill College. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
