Bristol, Tenn. (Mar. 23, 2011) --- The Milligan College tennis program split with former AAC foe King College on Wednesday afternoon as the women team won 5-4, but the men fell 5-0.

On the women's side, Milligan got individual wins from Caitlin Conley (Bristol, Tenn.), Albany Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn) and Celeste Carpenter (Mountain City, Tenn.). Freshman JoLynee Heidt (Kingsport, Tenn.) broke a 4-4 tie to take the match for the Buffaloes as she won 6-3, 4-6 and 7-5.

The Milligan women improve to 5-3 overall, while the men fall to 3-5.

The women return to action on Friday, March 25, as they host Snead State at Mathes Tennis Center before both teams open up AAC play on Saturday, March 26, as they travel to Tennessee Wesleyan.
