Asheville, N.C. (Jan. 16, 2012) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team saw Mickey Woods (Port Arthur, Tex.) hit a last second shot to send the Buffaloes past Warren Wilson on Monday night in Asheville, N.C.
 
   The first half saw both teams battle as neither was able to gain a sizable advantage. Milligan used a late run to take a 30-22 lead at the break.
 
   In the second half, the Owls quickly closed the gap, and jumped out in front. The teams traded shots in the final minutes, and Woods drained a jumper in the closing seconds to give the Buffaloes the victory.
 
   With the win, Milligan improves to 6-10 overall and remains 3-4 in AAC action. The win is the Buffaloes second in three games.
 
   Milligan returns to Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Jan. 18, for their final nonconference game of the season as they host Barber Scotia College. Game time is slated for 7:30.
