Milligan College, Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2012) --- The Milligan College men's soccer team scored three goals in the second half to upset No. 15 Bryan College 3-0 in Appalachian Athletic Conference action on Saturday night in Dayton, Tenn.
  Neither team was able to take advantage of opportunities in the first half as the game was scoreless at the break. Bryan opened the scoring in the 62nd minute when Nathan Adams found the back of the goal.
  Milligan evened the score in the 76th minute when
Nimely Robertson (Liberia) scored off a
Nahom Tekle (Louisville, Ky.) assist.
  Tekle pushed the Buffaloes ahead in the 80th minute. Milligan kept the Lions from answering, and then added a goal in the closing minutes on a
Joel Martin (Advance, N.C.) goal.
  Defensively,
Dan Ball (Chatham, England) recorded 10 saves.
  “It was great game and a great battle between two really good teams,” Head Coach
Adam Laney said. “It was fun to apart of. I am really proud of our guys. They played the way we have been trying to play all season, and they finally it put it together tonight.”
  With the win, the Buffaloes improves to 6-1 in AAC play and 9-4 overall.
  Milligan returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 24, as they host nonconference foe Tusculum College. Match time at Anglin Field is set for 7 p.m.
