Athens, Tenn. (Oct. 6, 2012) --- The Milligan College men's soccer team saw a six game winning streak snapped as they fell 4-1 to Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in Athens, Tenn.

  The first half saw neither team able to score in the early going. Tennessee Wesleyan broke onto the scoreboard in the 40
th minute, and Milligan was unable to answer in the closing minutes of the first half as they trailed 1-0 at the break.

  After the Bulldogs added another goal in the 60
th minute, the Buffaloes closed the gap as
Chris Ochieng (Nairobi, Kenya) scored off an assist from
Nahom Tekle (Louisville, Ky.). However, Milligan was unable to break onto the board again despite a hard fought effort, and TWC added a pair of late goals to increase their lead.

  With the loss, the Buffaloes fall to 5-1 in AAC action and 8-3 overall.

  Milligan returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 10, when they travel to Young Harris College. Match time is set for 4 p.m.ÂÂ
