Buffaloes women's basketball picks up road win

Milligan College, Tenn. (Nov. 10, 2012) --- The Milligan College women's basketball team picked up their third consecutive victory on Saturday evening as they defeated Berea College 60-46 in Berea, Ky.
 
   Neither team could pull away in the first half as Milligan maintained a 30-26 lead at the half. In the second half, the Buffaloes slowly began to pull away as they outscored Berea 30-20 in the half.
 
   Kayla Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds. Allison Jones (Morristown, Tenn.) had 11 points, while Johneshia Good (Johnson City, Tenn.) scored nine points and had six assists. Dorian Freeman (Augusta, Ga.) and Tracy Hardiman (Maryville, Tenn.) scored eight points apiece, and Hardiman grabbed a team high 10 rebounds.
 
   With the win, Milligan improves to 3-1 on the season.
 
   The Buffaloes return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 13, as they host former AAC foe UVA-Wise inside Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
