Milligan College, Tenn. (Dec. 4, 2013) â€" The Milligan College men's basketball team took a decisive win over the College of Faith, Wednesday night, in an exhibition matchup 79-47.

Milligan lead by a small margin for most of the first half but some Milligan fouls and missed opportunities kept the Buffaloes from breaking away. The 10-minute mark would see the two teams separated by one point at 20-19 with Milligan at the lead. The Buffaloes would finish the half ahead by 11 points at 36-25 after an eight point run.

Milligan kept its momentum from the first half and extended their lead to 19 points five minutes into the second half bringing the score to 46-27. The Buffaloes would find their way to a 20-point lead soon thereafter and would keep that cushion the remainder of the game. The Buffaloes would finish the game on top taking a 79-47 victory over the College of Faith.

Mickey Woods (Port Arthur, Texas) lead offensively for the Buffaloes raking in 19 points and four rebounds.
Cartree Pettis (Oveido, Fla.) followed closely with 15 points and four assists as well as senior
Torian Sitton (Hendersonville, N.C.) who recorded 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

The Buffaloes overall record improves to 8-2 while their AAC record remains 2-2.

Milligan will return to action in their next game against Truett-McConnell College in an AAC match-up. Game time in Cleveland, Ga is set for 4 p.m.
