Hilton Head, S.C. (March 13, 2013) --- The Milligan College tennis program wrapped up the Hilton Head Classic with a pair of wins on Wednesday over Millsaps College. The Milligan men picked up a 5-4 victory over the NCAA D-III school, while the women won their match 6-3.

Colin Bumann (Abilene, Tex.) led the way with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Charles Rees in No. 3 singles, while
Jackson Lenoir (Chattanooga, Tenn.) defeated Sean Solomonoff 6-4, 7-6 in No. 4 singles.
Caleb Friddell (Ooltewah, Tenn.) and
Mickey Brown (Knoxville, Tenn.) also picked up singles victories, while the team of Fridell and Brown took an 8-4 victory in No. 3 doubles.

  On the women's side, the team of
Rachel Hodas (Knoxville, Tenn.) and
Kayla Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) rolled to an 8-0 doubles victory, while
Albany Kelly (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and
Hallie Winfrey (Fayetteville, Ga.) won their No. 3 doubles match 8-2.

  In singles action, Hodas picked up a 7-6, 6-1 victory over Callie Creekmore, while
Sarah Rainwater (Knoxville, Tenn.) claimed a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Kara Kerbert. K. Kelly and Winfrey also claimed singles victories.

  The Milligan men improve to 3-6 overall and the women improve to 8-1.

  The women return to action on Friday, March 22, at Columbia College, and both squads will face Tennessee Wesleyan on Sunday, March 24.
