Lawrenceville, Ga. (Aug. 23, 2013) --- The Milligan College The Milligan College men's soccer team came up short on Saturday night as they fell 3-0 to Georgia Gwinnett College in the GGC Classic in Lawrenceville, Ga.

   The Grizzlies struck first in the 23rd minute. Milligan was unable to convert a pair of shots in the final minutes of the half as they trailed 1-0 at the break.

   Jonathan Colson (Johnson City, Tenn.) had four shots for Milligan. Defensively, Dan Ball (Chatham, England) recorded five saves in the match.

   In the second half, the Buffaloes were unable to find the back of the net. Georgia Gwinnett added to their lead with goals in the 66th and 67th minute. Milligan was unable to cut into the gap before time expired.

   The Buffaloes fall to 0-2 on the season.

   Milligan returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 4, as they host Virginia Intermont at Anglin Field. Match time is set for 6:30 p.m.
