MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2014) â€" The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Monday that Milligan College's Jessica Davenport received the AAC setter of the week award, her second in a row, for the week of Oct. 13-19.
 
Davenport recorded her sixth double-double of the year, earning 37 assists and 14 digs in Milligan's only match of the week against Montreat College. She also made six services aces and two blocks as the Buffs won the conference match in four games (3-1).
 
This is Davenport's third setter of the week award this season and her fourth of her career. She took the award two weeks ago after helping the Buffaloes to a 3-0 conference record with 146 assists in four matches in the previous week. Her other two awards were given on Sept. 22 of this season and Oct. 28 of last season.
 
Milligan continues its regular season with a nonconference match against UVa-Wise on Monday, Oct. 20 at home. The Buffs have won their last three matches, all of which were against AAC opponents, providing them with momentum as they head into the final part of their regular season schedule.
