MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 17, 2014) â€" Milligan College junior Morgan McLeod has been named the AAC men's basketball player of the week for the week ending Feb. 15, announced the conference office Monday afternoon.
 
In the Buffaloes only game of the week, McLeod earned his first double-double of the season with 22 points and 15 rebounds. He missed only one shot from the floor (7-8) and once from the free throw line (8-9) while gathering 10 of his season-high 15 boards on the offensive end.
 
Milligan's victory came in the form of a 98-93 nail-biter against Virginia Intermont on senior day. It was the third straight win for the Buffs and eighth in their last nine times out.
 
Milligan plays Reinhardt University Monday night at 7:30 p.m. after the women's game. The last time they met, McLeod had a game-tying three-pointer waved off at the buzzer.
