MILLIGAN COLLLEGE, Tenn. (Sept. 24, 2016) â€" The Milligan College men's soccer team lost a 4-0 decision to visiting Reinhardt University on Saturday in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup at Anglin Field.

Milligan (3-5, 0-2 AAC) fell behind quickly in this one, surrendering a goal just over a minute into the game, and Reinhardt (7-1, 2-0 AAC) doubled the lead roughly six minutes later. It was then 3-0 at the half as the Eagles added another with less than 17 minutes in the opening half, then Reinhardt rounded out the scoring in the 63rd minute.

Milligan trailed in the shot category 16-14, with three of the 14 coming from
Thomas Suits.

Joel Dominguez and
Josh Willard all took two apiece.

Nick Smith made six saves compared to five from Reinhardt counterpart Torge Wiedenroth.

Milligan will continue the season with three matches on the road before returning home to Anglin Field for an AAC game against Montreat College on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
