Jack Allan tied it with less than two minutes left in regulation, then
Jesse Ramoya won it in overtime as the Milligan College men's soccer team defeated Bluefield College 2-1 Wednesday night on the road.

Milligan snapped a two-match losing streak to improve to 4-5 (1-2 Appalachian Athletic Conference), and the Buffs also won their second overtime match of the season.

Milligan led the shot total 17-11 (7-5 on shots on goal) but found itself trailing by a goal after Bluefield scored in the 71st minute what looked to be the eventual game winner. Allen responded with 1:18 left in the second half with his second goal of the season on an assist from
Joel Dominguez.

Ramoya, the Buffs second leading scorer behind
Zana Ali, then followed with his fourth goal of the season to send Milligan to victory. Ramoya's goal was scored 100 minutes into the match with the assist from
Leonardo Guiaro.

Milligan's next game will be on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Point University for another AAC showdown. The Buffs will be back home on Tuesday, Oct. 11, against Montreat College.
