MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 22, 2017) â€" The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference honors on Wednesday night. Several Milligan College's men's basketball players were recognized, including three sophomores and two freshmen.

Milligan's two leading scorers
Jacob Cawood and
Tyler Nichols were both named All-Conference Second Team. The two were the only Buffs to average double figures all season, with Nichols leading the team at 13.6 points per game and Cawood at 11.6. Cawood was the team's second leading rebounder at 5.7 per game, while Nichols was fourth averaging 3.7.

The Buffaloes had several freshmen make significant contributions this season, but it was
Daxton Bostian and
Bo Pless who were named to the All-Freshman team. Bostian averaged 9.4 points per game, led the team in steals, and finished third in the conference for assists per game (3.72). After several productive games off the bench to open the season, Pless moved into the starting lineup against Reinhardt at the end of November and held on to that spot for the remainder of the season, finishing with 7.4 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 21 assists, eight blocks, and six steals.

Aaron Levarity and Nichols were named to the AAC All-Academic team, while Pless was the team's representative on the Champions of Character team.
