MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2017) â€" The Milligan College men's soccer team lost a 2-0 decision to visiting Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup at Anglin Field.
The Buffaloes were outshot 9-2 in the first half. It took 26 minutes for Tennessee Wesleyan to connect for their first goal of the game. Three minutes later, the Bulldogs found the back of the net for the second time. Milligan came out ready to attack in the second half and the Buffs' defense was ready to battle. Despite the Bulldogs outshooting Milligan 6-4, the Buffs earned two more corner kicks than Wesleyan and did not let up any more goals.

Jesse Ramoya with two shots apiece, all four of which were on goal. Senior goalkeeper
Nick Smith had nine saves on the night compared to six from Wesleyan counterpart Nick Croucher, also just two short of his career high (11).
Up next, the Buffs are back on the road for another AAC matchup against Montreat College on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and return home Saturday, Oct. 7, for more conference play against Point University.ÂÂ
