Aaron Levarity registered a team-high 20 points, but the Milligan College men's basketball team fell 98-71 at the hands of NCAA Division I member Elon University Thursday night inside the Schar Center in an exhibition game.

Milligan never led throughout the contest as the Phoenix jumped out to an early lead in the first half scoring 21 of the first 29 points and built as large of a lead as 32 in the opening moments of the second period.

The Buffaloes did put together a 17-6 run over the course of a seven-minute stretch in the second half to cut into the deficit, but Elon was just too much to overcome.

Levarity brought down nine rebounds and finished 8-of-13 from the field and 4-4 from the foul line.
Tyler Faulkenberry poured in 16 points while shooting 50 percent from the floor and knocking down four 3-pointers. Junior
Mike Featherston chipped in eight points, while
Tyler Nichols and
Bo Pless each recorded seven.

Milligan finished the night 28-of-69 from the field and 7-of-24 from deep. Elon posted a 48.6 percent clip from the floor and tallied 19 makes from beyond the arc.

The Phoenix were led by Tyler Seibring, who supplied a game-high 21 points and six rebounds. Four other members of the Elon squad recorded double-figures on the evening.
