HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (November 29, 2021)— The Milligan University women's basketball team fell to NCAA Division II University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) 95-66 in an exhibition matchup on Monday evening.  

The Buffs are now 7-4 (7-0 AAC) overall for the season while UAH picks up their first win of the season and move to 1-4 on the year.  

Milligan was without Appalachian Athletic Conference's (AAC) leading scorer Jaycie Jenkins for Monday's matchup with UAH. The Buffs struggled to find a groove offensively without Jenkins and only led once going up 2-0 to begin the game.  

Lauren Longmire was the primary source for the Buffalo offense scoring a career-high 23 points. Halie Padgett also scored in double figures with 12 points. 

UAH outscored the Buffs 56-31 in the first half and 39-35 in the second. 

The Chargers shot 62.7 percent from the field and turned 20 Milligan turnovers into 30 points. Five different players scored in double figures for UAH.
