CULLOWHEE, N.C. (February 3, 2024) – The Milligan University women's tennis team opened its spring 2024 campaign against NCAA Division I Western Carolina on Saturday. The Buffs fell 6-1 with Sophie Dunman notching a victory at No. 5 singles.

Milligan moves to 3-2 on the season while WCU rises to 4-1.

Dunman recorded a 6-2, 6-3 victory over WCU's Andrea Redondo at fifth singles.

Lauren Wimmer won four games in a 6-2, 6-2 defeat at No. 4 singles. Kylie Enarson at first singles and Tiana Shelton at sixth singles each won a single game.

Macy Kennedy and Marta Miralles battled to a 6-3 defeat at No. 2 doubles. Shelton and Wimmer fell 6-2 at third doubles.

Milligan women's tennis takes on Lincoln Memorial and Cumberland next Wednesday at LMU.
