MILLIGAN 4, MID-AMERICA CHRISTIAN 2

Solid pitching was key for the Buffs in securing the win over No. 1 seed Mid-America Christian.

Milligan picked up three runs in the second thanks to three bases-loaded walks. Mid-America Christian pushed a run across in the fourth and cut the margin to 3-2 in the sixth. However, Ryan Molinary homered in the eighth to make it 4-2.

The Milligan pitching staff was solid throughout the game. Starter Joe Ducharme tossed five innings, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts to pick up the win.
