KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Friday evening, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the full 40-team NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship First and Second Rounds bracket. The Milligan University men's soccer contingent earned an automatic bid by finishing as Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament runner-up, and was placed in the Marietta, Ga. Regional at Life University. The Buffaloes will face off with the LSU Alexandria Generals in the First Round. Milligan makes its sixth straight appearance in the NAIA men's soccer national championship tournament.
After spending much of the year receiving votes, the Buffs snatched the second AAC auto bid after their AAC Tournament Final appearance in Barbourville, Ky. They currently hold an overall record of 11-6-2 on the season, and they went 8-3-1 over the course of the AAC slate.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Buffs will tangle with LSU Alexandria at a time to be decided. The winner of that matchup will move on to play the hosts, the Life Running Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 22 at a time to be announced, with a trip to the final site of the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, Orange Beach, Ala., on the line.
