Buffaloes Men's Indoor T&F Squad Listed No. 7, Women No. 16 in USTFCCCA Checkpoint No. 4

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) revealed their Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) at checkpoint No. 3 of the 2025 indoor season. In the index, the Milligan University men's squad was ranked No. 7 with 101.46 points in the National TFRI. Meanwhile, the women were selected at No. 16 with 66.86 points. Milligan is the top-rated Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) program on the men's side, while coming in second in the AAC on the women's side.

Regionally, Milligan remains the TFRI No. 1 team in the South Region with 411.44 points on the men's side. The women are ranked No. 4 in the region, with 224.52 points.

By event, Bryn Woodall has five different top-five times at the national level. He holds the top time in all of the NAIA's history in the 1000m, notching a converted 2:21.79 mark. He also has the nation's top Mile time this year, with a 4:05.12. He holds second place in the NAIA in both the 3000m and the 5000m, achieving times of 8:07.51 (converted) and 14:10.79, respectively. Milligan's 4x800m Relay squad has the third national mark, with their 7:41.07 that they posted on Jan. 25 at the VMI Invitational. Sylas Chambers, Luis Peralta, Carter Windham and Woodall are a part of that group.

The 1000m combined mark of 9:48.36 is the top time in the nation, as the Buffs also hold the second-best combined time of 7:33.05 in the men's 800m, while doing the same in the 3000m with a 33:39.95. They sit in third in the 5000m, posting a combined 58:58.62, while occupying the sixth spot in the Mile with their 17:05.43 mark. In each of those events, the USTFCCCA takes the top four times from each program to find these rankings.

Milligan's women have Ellen-Mary Kearney sitting in second in the nation in the 3000m with her program-record time of 9:35.84, which she set back on Jan. 25 at the VMI Invitational. She then holds the No. 3 time in the Mile, with a 4:54.10, as well as the No. 2 time in the 1000m with a converted time of 2:50.88. She boasts the No. 4 mark in the 800m with a 2:13.38.

The Buffs' women hold third place nationally in the 3000m as a squad, totaling 40:09.80 for their top four runners so far this year. They are third in the 5000m, producing a 1:11:06 mark to this point. Meanwhile, they are third in the Mile and fourth in the 1000m, with times of 20:35.21 and 12:12.72.
