MONTGOMERY, Ala. - On Friday, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) released the five women's bowling student-athletes who were named to the Scholar-Athlete Team for 2025-26. Milligan had one athlete recognized, as
Emily Cheesman earned the honor.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions.
Cheesman was a NAIA Second-Team All-American, as well as a All-SSAC First Team member, this season for the Buffaloes. She averaged 203 pins per game across all formats. She is a Nursing major that has achieved a 3.69 GPA in the program.
