GREENWOOD, Ind. - On Tuesday, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025-26 Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District honorees. Milligan University boasted the maximum 12 student-athletes on the list, with six women's recipients and six men's winners. These recognitions stretch across the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field seasons in 2025-26.

For the Milligan women, Ellen-Mary Kearney, McKenzie Fitzgerald, Mary Custodio, Kirsten Geary, Sophia Jeffers and Kacey Webb were honored. Kearney will also be on the ballot for the CSC Academic All-America squad, which will be announced on July 15.

The men's honorees include Marti Molins Rallo, Aaron Gottlied, Carter Windham, Dillon Handshey, Conner Mowell and Reese Pesterfield. Molins Rallo will also have a chance to be named to the CSC Academic All-America team on July 14.

Kearney, a graduate of the Exercise Science program with a 3.87 GPA, had another astounding season in her final foray. She nabbed her second national title in the indoor season, snatching the 3000m championship for the second straight season. In the cross country season, she placed as the national runner-up. She was also national runner-up in the outdoor season in the 3000m Steeplechase. Over the course of the campaign, she set six total school records, including two in cross country season, three in indoor season and one more in the outdoor campaign. Counting all three seasons, she was a 10x all-AAC performer in 2025-26 including three relays.

Fitzgerald, another senior, competed in all three seasons for the Buffaloes and was a steady contributor. She graduated with a pair of degrees in Sport Management and Strategic Communications with a sparkling 3.90 GPA. The highlight of her year was qualification for the indoor national championships in the 3000m and 800m. She placed 11^th and 13^th in those races, respectively, just outside All-American status. It was a personal-best in the 3000m and a indoor personal-best in the 800m for Fitzgerald at nationals.

Custodio, a Cybersecurity major with a 3.75 cumulative GPA, was the lone pole vaulter for the Buffs in the indoor and outdoor campaigns as an all-conference performer. The junior also ran the 400m Hurdles in the AAC outdoor championships and was part of the 4x400m Relay in the AAC indoor championships, earning all-conference honors in both.

Geary, an Exercise Science degree holder with a 3.83 GPA, completed her senior year with all-AAC finishes in all three seasons. She came in fourth as an individual at the AAC cross country championships, while earning all-AAC 5000m honors in indoor. To close the year, she placed third in the conference in the 5000m on the outdoor track.

Another senior, Jeffers competed in both track & field seasons in 2025-26. She graduated with a degree in Film with a 3.89 GPA. She was an all-AAC athlete in the 600m and as part of the 4x800m Relay team in the indoor season, while earning all-conference plaudits in the 800m in outdoor. She also was one of four members of the national qualified 4x800m Relay team at nationals this spring.

Webb is on the way to earning two degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Milligan, while maintaining a 3.95 GPA. As a thrower of the Shot Put and Discus in 2025-26, she set a personal-best distance of 10.05m (32' 11.75") to begin her indoor season. Then, in the outdoor campaign, her Discus performance of 38.89m (127' 7") earned her a third-place finish at the AAC championships to give her all-conference status.

Molins Rallo holds a 3.92 cumulative GPA in the Mechanical Engineering program at Milligan. He competed in all three seasons for the Buffs, earning all-conference nods in all three. He took part in the Milligan men's cross country nationals performance to help the team to an eighth-place showing. He was a seven-time all-conference honoree overall, while he was an all-American in the indoor 800m as the national runner-up, and was a 1500m outdoor all-American.

Gottlied had a breakout junior season, in which he set six new personal-best times across three seasons. A double major in Exercise Science and Psychology, he currently holds a 3.53 GPA. In the cross country season, Gottlied set 5k and 8k personal-bests, while concluding the AAC championships in sixth place to earn all-conference honors. He also helped the men place eighth at the NAIA championships. During the indoor season, he set personal-best times in the Mile and the 3000m. He was a part of the AAC champion Distance Medley Relay team and was all-conference in the Mile and 3000m. At nationals in the 3000m, he placed 11^th just three spots off the all-American list. He achieved more of the same in outdoor, with a personal-record 5000m and 1500m race. He was all-AAC in the 1500m and was part of the champion 4x800m Relay team.

Windham's senior year, which concluded with a cumulative 3.72 GPA and a Business Administration degree, closed the book on a strong career. He ran in the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2025-26, earning all-AAC honors in the 800m and 1000m (personal best), while also helping the Distance Medley Relay win the conference title. He took part in the 1000m and helped on the 4x800m Relay at nationals, as well. His outdoor season included all-AAC performances in the 800m, alongside the 4x400m Relay. He also was part of the 4x800m Relay champion squad. At nationals, he ran with the 4x800m Relay team that finished one spot out of the final.

Handshey set three personal-bests in 2025-26 as a thrower. The newly minted Exercise Science and Psychology degree holder managed a stellar 3.89 GPA. He set a new personal Weight Throw record of 13.46m (44' 2") to highlight his indoor campaign. Then, in the outdoor season, he launched the Discus 44.79m (146' 11") to earn another personal-best. Later, at the AAC outdoor championships, he hurled a personal-best Hammer Throw of 49.70m (163' 1") to earn seventh place and become an all-conference performer.

Mowell, a specialist in the High Jump, graduated with a 3.54 GPA and a degree in Business Administration. His campaign included a personal-best leap during the indoor season at 1.88m (6' 2"). In both the indoor (4^th) and outdoor (6^th) seasons, he earned all-AAC plaudits at the conference championships.

Pesterfield, primarily a Decathlete, competed only in the outdoor season. He has a 3.54 cumulative GPA in Biology and set a personal-best Decathlon score in 2026 at the AAC championships. He scored 5306 points to place fourth an earn all-AAC honors as a multis athlete.

CSC's Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for the award, voted on by Athletic Communication professionals, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher and must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution.
