Alara Tyrer has spent three seasons with the Buffs, from 2024 through her junior season in 2026, playing forward and defense. She has scored in back-to-back seasons.

2025: Tyrer scored twice across 16 matches, netting a goal off a Kelsey Miller assist in the 8-2 win over Spartanburg Methodist on Sept. 6 and another off a Katelyn Penner assist in the 6-1 win over Bryan on Sept. 17. In conference play she posted the same two goals and four points across four starts. Tyrer was named to the 2025 Academic All-AAC Team.

2024: Tyrer made seven starts in 18 appearances, scoring one goal on two shots in 556 minutes of action.
